College students: Be a camp counselor in Israel!

JUF is accepting applications from college-aged students from Chicago to be camp counselors in Israel June 26-July 22. Kefiada, (Kef means fun in Hebrew) is JUF's English-speaking day camp located in Kiryat Gat-Lachish-Shafir in the Northern Negev. Counselors stay with an Israeli host family at no cost and receive a $1,200 stipend for airfare. This is a great way for college students to go back to Israel, gain leadership skills and have fun. PJ Cares: Protecting the Environment – a PJ Gives Back event

Volunteer with your family to help the environment and give back to the community.  PJ Cares will bring together families for fun activities with a big impact as they work together with Pushing the Envelope Farm to plant and harvest microgreens to donate to the Northern Illinois Food Bank.  The Flying Fox Conservation Fund will present an interactive animal show about animal education and conservation.  This event is proudly co-sponsored with Akiba-Schechter Jewish Day School, the Tikkun Olam Volunteer Network (TOV), and PJ Library.  Learn more and RSVP today!  Read More »
